One of my nursing students was running a slight fever (99′) and was feeling fatigued and “crappy.”  She went to the doctor.  He prescribed Tamiflu.  For all the potential side effects of this medication, at the most, it was shown to reduce the symptoms of the flu by 1.3 days and only if you take it within the first 24 hours of symptoms.  Who goes to the doctor at the first sign of fatigue and feeling “crappy?”  There are more effective, herbal and nutritive choices than Tamiflu.  See what you think after reading the article below.
